Frequently Asked Questions

Q1 Can I ride a cruise without making a reservation? (Can I ride any time I want?)
A Reservations are not required.
If you would like to buy a Funaben (bento box lunch), please reserve one by 12:00 PM the day before your cruise.

Q2 How can I get to the boarding platform?
A Please see the guide here.

Q3 Are cruises ever canceled?
A Cruises will be determined based on wave conditions on the day of each cruise. However, because cruises travel within the port, they are rarely canceled (but cruises may be canceled in the event of typhoons, etc.).

Even when it is possible to operate cruises, Miho Pier may not be able to dock ships because of waves.

Please inquire about cruise operating status. For details, call 054-352-9161.

Q4 Are there closed days?
A Normally there are not. Please inquire for details. Call 054-353-2222.

A Our rules only permit guide dogs and service dogs on board the vessel.
Q6 Are there discounts for disabled people?
A Please present a disabled person’s certificate at the counter.
Discounts are available for people with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or mental illnesses. The disabled person carrying a certificate and one caregiver accompanying them are eligible for a discount of half off standard fares.
“Funaben Cruise” tickets are not eligible for discounts. We thank you for your understanding.
